When this part of the work is completed, no doubt a Planning Officer should be appointed, and a name suggested to us is that of Clifford Holliday, who has acted in similar capacities in Haifa, Ceylon and Gibraltar. (He is believed to be in Gibraltar now.) Max Lock is also a possibility. He is relatively young and unmarried, and might like to do a tour of two or three years. The remuneration would probably be the equivalent of about £1,500 to £2,000 in this coun- try.

If you would like further information about J. A. Stewart, we should be glad to supply it. You probably have some information about Holliday yourself.

P. Rogers, Esq.,
